On November 2, 2011 Upper Allen Police responded to an accident with injuries on Route 15 South at South Market Street. King was operating a full size van on the ramp from South Market Street to US Route 15 South. Dove was stopped on the ramp attempting to merge into southbound traffic. King did not see Dove stopped on the ramp and ran into the rear of his truck, pushing it onto an embankment off the road. King’s vehicle became lodged under the Dove’s vehicle and Dove had to be extracted from the vehicle by EMS and Fire Department personnel. Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by West Shore and Lower Allen EMS, Upper Allen Fire Department, and Upper Allen Fire Police.
