On March 18, 2018 at approximately 4:15 PM Upper Allen Police were dispatched for a single vehicle overturned on US Route 15 South in the area of Rt. 114. The investigation determined that Mead drove her vehicle into the embankment on the right side of the shoulder which caused her vehicle to overturn. Mead and the passenger were transported by Holy Spirit EMS to UPMC Pinnacle Harrisburg Hospital for their injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
