On Thursday October 25, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Upper Allen Police Officers will be patrolling the streets and handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. Be sure to look for Officers driving marked patrol vehicles in the neighborhoods in the Township.
The main objective of the Police Department on this evening will be to make sure that everyone is safe and has fun. Some safety tips include:
-Always use a crosswalk to cross the street
-Travel together in a “buddy system” and not alone
-Wear light colored or reflective clothing so you can be seen or carry a flashlight
-Only approach houses with lights on and NEVER go inside a stranger’s home
-Make sure someone in your group has a cell phone in case of an emergency
-Always check candy before eating it
