On Thursday, February 14, 2019 at approximately 3:55 PM, Officers were dispatched to US Route 15 south near the Cumberland Parkway exit for a crash. Following an investigation, it was determined that Byers stopped his vehicle in the roadway to prevent a collision with a prior accident in front of him. Heatwole was unable to stop her vehicle and drove into the back of Byers’ vehicle. Both parties complained of injuries and received treatment at the scene of the crash by EMS. Upper Allen Police were assisted at the crash by Lower Allen Police Department and Geisinger Holy Spirit EMS.
