On Monday, May 24, 2021, Upper Allen Township Police received a report of retail theft at Giant. An investigation determined that the defendant, Jennifer Ruell, had committed multiple “under-ringing” retail thefts over the course of a few months. Ruell was charged with retail theft and on Monday, August 2nd, 2021, she waived her right to a preliminary hearing.
