On Saturday, December 3, 2022, Upper Allen Police were a part of a coordinated coalition of Cumberland County Police Officers that participated in the annual Shop With A Cop event. Officers were paired up with a student from the Cumberland Valley School District who were treated to a pancake breakfast and a chance to see the New Kingstown Fire Department trucks up close. Students then received a police escort to the Mechanicsburg Walmart where each student was provided a gift card to purchase toys for themselves and Christmas gifts for their family members.
Upper Allen Police were grateful for the opportunity to participate in this event to make the holiday season brighter for local families.
