On Wednesday, November 29, 2017 Upper Allen Police received a report from a township resident that a package had been stolen from their front porch on Friday, November 24, 2017 around 5:00 PM. The package was confirmed to have been delivered to the residence and left on the front porch. When the resident returned home to collect the package, it was not there.
Anyone with information regarding this theft is encouraged to contact the Upper Allen Police at 717-795-2445 or 717-238-9676.
Residents are reminded that with the holiday season approaching, to remain diligent in tracking any packages they have delivered to their homes or arrangements can be made to have packages delivered to an alternate location such as a workplace. Additionally, there are many inexpensive surveillance camera systems available now that can be easily installed by the homeowner.
