On October 27, 2012 at approximately 9:20 PM, Upper Allen Police responded to a vehicle crash at the intersection of West Lisburn Road at US Route 15, Mechanicsburg. Loffredo, operating a silver 2000 Honda Accord, was traveling west on West Lisburn Road. McDonald, operating a 2006 silver Nissan Sentra, was traveling east on West Lisburn Road. Loffredo failed to yield the right of way to McDonald in the intersection and a collision resulted. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

On October 20, 2012 Upper Allen Police investigated a theft in the 1000 block of Sheffield Avenue. Sometime between 2:30 PM Friday, October 19th and 4:00 PM Saturday, October 20th, a Marine Corps flag was taken from the exterior of the house. The flag, pictured above, is described as 34″x60″ in size, with Marine Corps anchor, globe, and eagle emblem. The flag was affixed to a wooden pole. On October 20, 2012 Upper Allen Police investigated a burglary at a residence in the 2500 block of Pheasant Drive, Mechanicsburg. Sometime on Friday October 19th, a red in color, Sears brand stand alone tool chest was taken from a residential garage. The tool chest was described as having several tool drawers on the top, and a large tool cabinet on the bottom of the tool chest. The tools that were inside the chest were described as hand tools and wrenches. On October 16, 2012 Upper Allen Township Police investigated a burglary at C & J Care Care Center in the 900 block of South York Street, Mechanicsburg. Between Tuesday, October 8th and Friday, October 12th, the following items were taken from inside and outside the business: two air conditioning units, four wheels and tires from a Chevrolet 2500 truck and one wheel from a Lincoln Navigator. On October 16, 2012 at about 9:30 AM, a resident living in the 3500 block of Rolo Court, Mechanicsburg reported a burglary of their residence. The incident occurred during a two hour period the same morning. Items stolen include prescription medication and an MP3 player.
