On Sunday, December 17, 2023, around 6:50 PM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to E. Lisburn Road at McCormick Road for a single vehicle crash with injuries and entrapment. Upper Allen Police responded to the scene and rendered aid along with Fire and EMS. The crash investigation revealed that the vehicle had been traveling westbound on E. Lisburn Road when it attempted to negotiate the right curve. Due to the vehicle’s speed and wet road conditions, the vehicle struck the embankment and became wedged between a utility pole and the embankment. Both the driver and front seat passenger sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital for further treatment.

Upper Allen Police were assisted by Upper Allen Fire, Lower Allen Fire & EMS, Hampden EMS, and Mechanicsburg Fire.

On Sunday, December 17, 2023 at approximately 9am, Upper Allen Police responded to the 1200 block of Rocky Road for a shooting. An investigation has identified the suspect who fired the firearm during a physical altercation. Police believe this to be an isolated incident and do not believe the public is in danger. The suspect will face prosecution when the investigation concludes. Upper Allen Police were assisted by the Lower Allen Township Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police. On Sunday, December 17, 2023 at approximately 9am, Upper Allen Police responded to the 600 block of Cumberland Pointe Circle for a shooting. Police have determined that a fight occurred and a gun was discharged. There are no reported injuries from the shooting and police are actively investigating the incident. On Thursday, December 14th, 2023, at around 7:44 PM, Upper Allen Officers responded to the intersection of South Market Street and US Route 15 North for a two vehicle crash. An investigation determined that the operator failed to yield to oncoming traffic while turning left, causing a collision. One of the operators was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation.

The Upper Allen Police were assisted on scene by The Upper Allen Fire Department and Penn State Health EMS.

On Thursday, December 14th, 2023, at around 5:42 PM, Upper Allen Police responded to the 200 block of East Winding Hill Road for a three vehicle crash. The investigation revealed that an operator failed to stop for vehicles stopped at a traffic light. As a result, the operator rear-ended a vehicle, which was pushed into a third vehicle. One of the occupants was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
