On Thursday, September 15, 2022, at approximately 8:39 AM the Upper Allen Police responded to a single-vehicle crash that occurred on English Drive. The investigation determined the male driver was traveling south on English Drive when an object inside the vehicle began to shift, which diverted his attention away from the road. The vehicle left the roadway and struck a utility pole, causing significant damage to the vehicle and pole.

The female passenger in the vehicle reported injuries and was transported to an area hospital for evaluation. The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by Penn State Health Life Lion EMS and the Upper Allen Township Public Works Department.

On Sunday, August 28, 2022 at approximately 9:30 am, a victim was eating breakfast at a local restaurant with their purse hanging off of the back of the restaurant chair. An unidentified suspect entered the victim’s purse, stealing their cash, debit card, driver’s license, and social security card. The suspect then left the restaurant and went to another store and attempted to use the victim’s bank card.

The suspect was the passenger in a black Dodge Durango rental car with an Arizona registration plate.

On Saturday, September 10, 2022, Upper Allen Police were contacted about a found dog at approximately 6:45 PM. The dog, pictured above, was located on East Winding Hill Road near Orchard Glen. Anyone with information regarding the dog’s owner is asked to call the Upper Allen Police at 717-238-9676.

On Sunday, September 4th, 2022, at approximately 11:00 PM, the Upper Allen Township Police responded to a residence in the 1st block of Oakwood Avenue for an attempted burglary. The homeowners reported that someone had attempted for forcibly enter their home while they were in the residence. The suspect fled the area before police arrived.
