On August 11, 2012 at approximately 10:00 PM, Upper Allen Police responded to the Wingate Hotel, Cumberland Parkway, Mechanicsburg for a report of a possible prowler. A witness observed a white man looking at hotel guests through the windows of the hotel pool area. The suspect was described as an average build, middle aged white male, wearing black shorts, white shirt, and a white hat. The suspect was seen circling around the hotel building several times during the incident, and was operating a dark colored SUV. Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may know the identity of the male is asked to call Upper Allen at 717-795-2445 or the anonymous tip line at 717-591-3790.
Residents are also reminded to remain vigilant of their surroundings and to report any suspicious activity to the Police immediately.
