On August 23, 2015 at 7:20 AM, Upper Allen Police responded to a two vehicle crash which occurred in the 2100 block of Bumble Bee Hollow Road. During the investigation, officers learned that Hess pulled out from a stopped position at the McDonald’s drive-thru as Hazlett was passing by Hess to exit the parking lot. Hess’ vehicle struck Hazlett’s vehicle along the driver’s side portion of the vehicle. There was minor damage to both vehicles and Hazlett was transported by Holy Spirit EMS for injuries sustained during the crash.

Sometime between 5:00 PM on Friday, August 14 and 12:00 PM on Sunday, August 16, someone unsuccessfully tried to pry open a door to the rear of Dove’s Auto in the 100 block of Cumberland Parkway off South Market Street. On August 15, 2015 at approximately 11:15 PM, someone attempted to enter the front door of a residence in the 600 block of Geneva Drive in the Sunguild Development. They were not able to gain entry into the residence. The suspect was described as a teen-aged, shirtless black male wearing basketball shorts and a ball cap.

On August 12, 2015 at 12:44 AM, Upper Allen Police responded to a rollover crash in the 400 block of West Lisburn Road. Officers learned that Debor, who operating a Buick Century, was distracted by the use of a cell phone. This led to Debor taking his eyes off of the road, after which he struck a utility pole, shearing the pole in half and causing his vehicle to overturn. A female passenger in the vehicle suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

On August 10, 2015 at approximately 9:20 AM, Borg was traveling north on US Route 15 behind Weaver in the area of East Winding Hill Road. Weaver stopped her Volkswagen Beetle due to heavy traffic caused by road work. Borg was not able to stop his tractor trailer before striking the rear of Weaver’s car. Both vehicles suffered damage which required towing. EMS personnel were not required at the scene.
