On Saturday March 21 at approximately 6:10PM the Upper Allen Police investigated a hit and run crash in the 100 block of Kim Acres Drive. During the subsequent investigation, the Upper Allen Police located the striking vehicle, pictured above.

On Monday, March 9, 2015 at approximately 1:45 AM, the Upper Allen Police investigated a tractor-trailer crash in the 300 block of Independence Ave. The investigation revealed that Henderson’s truck had been parked at the loading dock of a business at that location. Henderson neglected to set the truck’s parking brake, and after he had exited the truck, it started to roll away from the building. The truck crossed the roadway, ran over the curb and came to rest in a drainage ditch.

Henderson attempted to chase the truck down on foot in an effort to stop it from rolling away, and in the process he received a minor injury. Henderson was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of his injury. The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department and Holy Spirit EMS.

On February 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of South York Street for an auto accident. Officers arrived to find that three vehicles had been involved. An investigation revealed that Sock did not apply her brakes in time to stop for Davis’ vehicle in front of her, causing Davis’ vehicle then to collide with Aabich’s vehicle. Aabich sustained minor injury.

On Friday, February 20, 2015 between the hours of 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, an unknown suspect attempted to forcibly enter a residence in the 2000 block of Beacon Circle. The suspect was not able to gain entry into the residence. Police are asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact Upper Allen Police at 717-238-9676.
