On August 15 and August 16, 2014 a suspect in blue pickup truck, possibly a Dodge 1500, stole over $130 in gasoline from Turkey Hill located on South Market Street at Kim Acres Drive. The truck appears to have a toolbox mounted in the bed. Anyone with information that could identify the driver is asked to contact Upper Allen Police at 717-238-9676. On September 7, 2014 Upper Allen Police received a report of a daytime burglary that had occurred on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in the 600 block of Cumberland Pointe Circle. An Apple iPad 2 (32gb) was reportedly taken from the residence.

On August 31, 2014 a resident of the 2700 block of South Rosegarden Boulevard reported that sometime between August 23 and August 30, 2014, someone attempted to enter their home by forcing their way in through the back door.

On Sunday, August 31, 2014 at approximately 2:00 am, the Upper Allen Police investigated a single vehicle crash in front of 1002 Gettysburg Pike. The investigation revealed that Normand was traveling south on Gettysburg Pike when her Honda Civic left the roadway and struck a utility pole head-on at the above address. Normand was transported to an area hospital for evaluation of her injuries. This crash is still under investigation.

The Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by the Upper Allen Township Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police, West Shore EMS and Lower Allen EMS.

On August 26, 2014 at 1:36 PM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to an injury crash on South Market Street at West Winding Hill Road. An investigation determined that Palmer stopped at that intersection and proceeded through the intersection in front of oncoming traffic causing a crash with the vehicle traveling south on South Market Street. Both vehicles sustained damage and one vehicle was towed from the scene. Both drivers sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene. Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police and West Shore EMS.
