On Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 6:38 AM, Upper Allen Police responded to a crash at the intersection of South Market Street and the on-ramp to Route 15 North. The investigation determined that Zies attempted to turn left from South Market Street onto the on-ramp of Route 15 North. Zies turned into the path of Krishak’s vehicle as it was proceeding through the intersection, resulting in a collision which disabled both vehicles. Krishak was transported to Holy Spirit Hospital for treatment.

On March 25, 2014 at 1:20 PM Upper Allen Township Police responded to Weis Market at 2150 Bumble Bee Hollow road to investigate a reported pedestrian accident. Police learned that a car driven by Kowaleski struck a pedestrian in the parking lot. The pedestrian was transported to Harrisburg Hospital for treatment of injuries. Police are still investigating the incident.

On February 12, 2014 the Upper Allen Police received a report of a stolen generator from a commercial construction site located in the 100 block of Gettysburg Pike, in Upper Allen Township. The theft occurred sometime between February 1st and February 12th. The generator is a suitcase style Honda EU2000i, red in color.

On 02/12/2014 a Mechanicsburg Middle School student reported that their Apple iPhone 5 was taken from their gym locker while the student was participating in gym class. The device is white in color and was in a yellow/green protector case. The serial number for the device is C37JFDR4DTTP.

On February 12, 2014 at 8:50 PM Upper Allen Police responded to an injury crash on South Market Street near Gettysburg Pike involving two vehicles. An investigation revealed that Williams was on South Market Street and was stopped at a red traffic signal. Moore was traveling South and approaching the traffic signal and was unable to stop before striking Williams’ vehicle from behind. Moore was transported to Holy Spirit Hospital for minor injuries. Police were assisted on scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police, and West Shore EMS.
