On June 25, 2013 Upper Allen Police received a call about a theft from a construction site storage trailer that was parked in the area of Klinedinst Road at E. Lisbrun Road. Suspects forced entry to the trailer between June 18 and June 25. Tools stolen from the trailer include: 5000/5500 Series Honda Generators, two air compressors, various saws, nail guns, ladders, and a Transit. Also stolen were two Paslode PF350S Framing Nailers with serial numbers 1316D0224 and 1316D0217 and two Paslode F350S Framing Nailers with serial numbers 1313A0242 and 1313A0251. On July 1, 2013 at approximately 3:04 PM, Upper Allen Police responded to a crash in the 1600 block of South York Street, Upper Allen Township. It was determined that Walunas was traveling too fast for conditions around a turn and lost control of his car. The car struck an embankment, overturned and came to rest on it’s roof. Walunas and his passenger sustained minor injuries and had freed themselves from the car prior to police arrival. Upper Allen Police were assisted on the scene by Upper Allen Fire Police and West Shore EMS.

On July 1, 2013, Upper Allen Police investigated a burglary at the Trails and Trees Environmental Center in the 1700 block of South York street near Shepherdstown Elementary School. Sometime between Friday, June 28 and July 1 a pavilion storage room was forcibly entered, trash cans were overturned and glass bottles were smashed. On July 1, 2013, Upper Allen Police responded to the 600 block of Geneva Drive for a stolen motorcycle complaint. The victim reported that sometime between the evening of June 30 and the morning of July 1, his motorcycle was stolen from the parking lot of the Belle Terre apartment complex. On June 28, 2013 at approximately 4:50 PM, Upper Allen Township Police responded to a crash at the intersection of West Lisburn Road and Bumble Bee Hollow Road. It was determined that a bicycle operated by a juvenile male, was attempting to turn onto Bumble Bee Hollow Road, while Smith was passing the bicyclist. The bicycle struck Smith’s vehicle, causing the bicyclist to lose control of his bike and causing injury. Upper Allen Police were assisted on the scene by West Shore EMS.
