On August 20, 2012 at 9:00 PM Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a crash at the intersection of Bumble Bee Hollow Road and Old Hollow Road, Mechanicsburg. A vehicle driven by Fox was traveling west on Old Hollow Road. A vehicle driven by Adams was traveling south on Bumble Bee Hollow Road. Fox proceeded without clearance after stopping at a stop sign and struck Adams’ vehicle. Adams and a passenger sustained minor injury and were transported to Holy Spirit Hospital by West Shore EMS. Fox’s and Adams’ vehicles were disabled and towed from the scene. The Upper Allen Township Fire Department assisted police at the scene.

On August 20, 2012, a citizen reported that on August 10, 2012 at approximately 10:30 PM, he was assaulted and robbed by an unidentified assailant in the 1000 Block of Lancaster Boulevard, Mechanicsburg. The victim stated that the attacker approached him from behind, struck him in the head and stole his bag containing personal property. Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may know the identity of the suspect is asked to call Upper Allen Police at 717-795-2445 or the anonymous tip line at 717-591-3790.

The items pictured above were found in a Community Park, 2000 Fisher Road, Mechanicsburg. The jewelry was found on Saturday August 18th. Several GPS units, computer components and eye glasses and the electronics were found on Monday, August 20th. Police are attempting to identify the owners of the property. On August 17, 2012 at 5:17 PM Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a crash at the intersection of East Lisburn Road and McCormick Road. A vehicle driven by Malhenzie was traveling west on East Lisburn Road. A vehicle driven by Weeks, and a third vehicle driven by Waszmer traveling behind Weeks, were traveling east on East Lisburn Road. Malhenzie failed to negotiate the turn in the road and struck Weeks’ and Waszmer’s vehicles. Weeks was evaluated on the scene by West Shore EMS. Weeks’ and Malhenzie’s vehicles were disabled and towed from the scene.

On August 15, 2012 at 9:13 AM Upper Allen Police were dispatched to a crash at the intersection of South Market Street and East Lisburn Road. A vehicle driven by Kauffman was traveling north on South Market Street and a vehicle driven by Peterman was traveling behind her. Kauffman slowed to make a left turn onto East Lisburn Road and was struck from behind by Peterman. Kauffman was transported to Holy Spirit hospital for evaluation and Peterman’s vehicle was disabled and towed from the scene.
