On May 1, 2012 Upper Allen Police responded to a two vehicle crash in the 2700 block of South Market Street. Walton was traveling north on South Market Street. A white sedan pulled from Simpson Park into the path of Walton’s vehicle causing a collision. The driver of the white vehicle left the scene without providing any information. The vehicle that left the scene was driven by a white male with brown hair and should have damage to the front driver side. Walton’s vehicle was towed from the scene. On April 28, 2012 a white female, 30-40 years old, knocked on the door of the victim’s residence in the 700 block of E. Winding Hill Road, Mechanicsburg and introduced herself as a “new neighbor”. During the conversation a white male entered the same residence and claimed he was the brother of the new neighbor. The male then claimed he saw roof damage and offered to make a repair for $250.00 in cash. The male took $200 in cash that the victim had, and left the residence with the female saying they would return another time to make the repair and collect the rest of the money. Police were notified and able to determine there was no damage to the victim’s roof that required repair. The male was described as being of Italian decent. Upper Allen Police are currently searching for Justice-Azizah Yousef Nassir (“Justice”), age 14, who was last seen in the 600 block of Cumberland Pointe Circle on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10:30 PM. A police investigation determined Nassir made a Facebook post from a mobile device in Harrisburg City over the weekend, but her whereabouts are unknown at this time. The Upper Allen Township Police Department assisted Holy Spirit Hospital’s Crisis Intervention unit in serving a mental health warrant in the 1100 block of Floribunda Lane today. A family member sought assistance from the hospital and police involvement was deemed a necessary precaution. The Cumberland County Special Response Team (SRT) was activated to assist serving this mental health warrant. West Shore EMS also provided assistance on scene. The patient ultimately decided to go to the hospital and no injuries were reported. Police were on scene for approximately four (4) hours and cleared the scene at 1:30 PM this afternoon.
