On May 10, 2012 at approximately 8:51 PM, Upper Allen Police responded to the intersection of West Lisburn Road and the on-ramp to US Route 15 South for a reported vehicle crash with injuries. The investigation revealed that a 2006 Honda Pilot, driven by a 17 year old female, was attempting to turn left onto the ramp to US Route 15 South from West Lisburn Road. Selan was traveling east through the same intersection in a Plymouth Voyager. The Honda turned left into the path of the Plymouth causing the crash.
Selan was transported by EMS to Harrisburg Hospital and the juvenile was treated at the scene. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Upper Allen Police were assisted by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police and West Shore EMS.
