On 11/15/2013 Upper Allen Police responded to a crash on South Market Street at US Route 15. Gabel was traveling south on South Market Street and failed to see that traffic was stopped for a red traffic signal at the South Market Street and US Route 15 North ramps. Gabel struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Taylor who was stopped in the travel lane. The collision pushed Taylor’s vehicle into the rear of a vehicle driven by Creamer, which was also stopped. The impact also caused Taylor’s car to accelerate into Creamer’s vehicle then off the right shoulder and into a bridge pier. Taylor suffered an injury and was transported from the scene by Lower Allen EMS. Gabel and Creamer were uninjured.

Two Injured in Evening Crash

On Wednesday, October 30 at 8:12 PM, Upper Allen Police were dispatched to the intersection of Gettysburg Pike and West Lisburn Road for a vehicle crash with injuries. An investigation determined that Cormany was on Gettysburg Pike facing the intersection while Stevens was entering the intersection from the opposite direction. Stevens had the right of way and Cormany turned left into the path of Stevens, causing the crash. Occupants in Stevens’ vehicle sustained minor injuries and both vehicles were towed from the scene. Police were assisted on scene by West Shore EMS, Upper Allen Fire Department and Upper Allen Fire Police.

On October 23, 2013 Upper Allen Police responded to a single vehicle crash South Market Street just south of the Lisburn Road intersection. A Ford Ranger, operated by Clifford Ward Jr., struck the concrete bridge abutment of the railroad overpass. Ward was transported to Hershey Medical Center by Lifelion. The crash in under investigation. Upper Allen Police were assisted at the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Upper Allen Fire Police, and West Shore EMS personnel.

Camp Hill Woman Transported To Hospital After Crash

On October 24, 2013 at approximately 5:08 PM, Upper Allen Police responded to an auto accident on US Route 15 northbound just prior to the Winding Hill Road exit. Upon arrival, police found a single vehicle with one occupant crashed into the center median. The driver was transported to Holy Spirit Hospital with unknown injuries.

Upper Allen Police were assisted on the scene by the Upper Allen Fire Department, Lower Allen EMS, and West Shore EMS.
