On Monday, July 30, 2012 at 4:15 A.M. Upper Allen Police investigated an attempted residential burglary which had just occurred in the 600 block of Geneva Drive. Forced entry into a residence was attempted through a rear window. The homeowner confronted the suspect before he could make entry into the residence. The suspect fled on foot and is described as a light-skinned unknown race male, shaved head, wearing long dark colored shorts and a dark shirt. On Friday July 27, 2012 at 7:20 AM, vandalism was found in Simpson Park, 2701 S. Market St., Mechanicsburg. A park pavilion had what appears to be “CANOE 2012” carved into a wooden support beam and a pentagram symbol and the word “SATAN” scratched into the paint on a metal door.

On July 24, 2012 Upper Allen Police were called to a residence in the 2800 block of West Rosegarden Boulevard for a reported burglary. The resident reported that during the overnight hours they left their garage door open. The next morning they discovered beverages and money missing from inside the garage. The incident occurred sometime between 2:00 AM and 8:30 AM on July 24. Police urge all residents to be mindful of any unsecured doors or vehicles and the potential to be a victim. On Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10:20 PM Upper Allen Police investigated a residential burglary which had just occurred in the 600 block of Cumberland Pointe Circle, Mechanicsburg. Forced entry was made to a residence through a rear window. Witnesses saw multiple black males running from the scene.
