On October 1, 2011, shortly after 1:00 AM, police received a report that a man was stabbed in a parking lot in the 600 block of Geneva Drive. Police believe an altercation between the victim and another male acquaintance precipitated the stabbing. On Monday, September 26, 2011, Upper Allen Police received a report of a burglary at Belle Terre Apartments on Geneva Drive. The burglary occurred between approximately 12:30 and 2:00 PM. The resident reported eleven baseball style hats and $500 cash stolen from the unlocked apartment. The hats are a “Snap Back” brand and vary in colors to represent various sports teams. On Friday, September 30, 2011, the Upper Allen Police investigated the theft of a 4-wheeler from an unsecured garage. The 4-wheeler is a 2001 gray Yamaha Grizzly 660 4×4 with front and rear gear racks, similar to the one pictured above. Anyone with information is asked to call Upper Allen Police at 717-238-9676. On Thursday, September 29, 2011 at approximately 10:00 PM, Upper Allen Police responded to the area of South York Street for the report of a prowler. The resident reported that a person was at the rear of their house and fled into the woods when the resident went outside. A search of the area with a police canine tracked toward the Webercroft development on South Market Street. The investigation is ongoing and may be related to the September 26, 2011 prowler which was in close proximity. Upper Allen Police were assisted by Mechanicsburg Borough Police and Silver Spring Township Police.

On September 29, 2011 at 7:47 PM, the Upper Allen Police investigated a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of West Lisburn Road and the US Route 15 southbound off-ramp. The victim was traveling east on West Lisburn Road, crossing that intersection when the suspect vehicle failed to stop for a steady red traffic light. As the suspect’s vehicle crossed the victim’s path, the victim’s front end struck the suspect vehicle’s passenger side. The suspect vehicle then fled south, re-entering US Route 15 towards Dillsburg.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark colored, small sedan. The suspect’s vehicle may possibly have moderate to severe damage on the passenger side body, mostly around the doors. Police are looking for anyone who may have information concerning the crash.
