On October 28, 2011 Upper Allen Police received a report of money missing from a residence in the 1200 block of Allendale Road, Mechanicsburg. The victim had stored a large sum of money in a Coors Light Keg can (identical to the one pictured above) which they kept in their living room. The can is approximately 16″ tall and was stolen between October 25-28, 2011. Anyone with information is asked to contact Upper Allen Police at 717-795-2445. George Williams, operating a silver Ford Ranger, was stopped in the 1300 block of South Market Street waiting to turn left when he was rear-ended by Thomas Deppen, operating a white Toyota Avalon. Williams and Deppen were both injured in the crash and transported to Harrisburg Hospital by West Shore EMS. Upper Allen Police were assisted by the Upper Allen Fire Department and the Upper Allen Fire Police.

On October 13, 2011 Upper Allen Police received a fraud report wherein the victim’s bank card was compromised by the use of a credit card skimmer. A card skimmer can copy the contents of the magnetic strip on debit or credit cards which can then be transferred to a new blank card for use. On October 11, 2011 the suspect used the fraudulent card in an Apple retail store in the Orland Square Mall, Ohio to purchase a white Apple iPad 2 WiFi (16 GB), model MC979LL/A, serial number DN6G8HXADKPH. On October 24, 2011 a resident in the 500 block of Diehl Road reported that they arrived home in the afternoon and discovered someone made forced entry to their home. On October 1, 2011 at approximately 4:55 AM the female pictured above entered Giant, 255 Cumberland Parkway, Mechanicsburg and walked out with approximately $300.00 worth of meat. The female left the store in a waiting vehicle which is believed to be a gold sedan. The same female then entered the store again on October 2, 2011 around 3:40 AM but left after an employee questioned her.
