On Saturday, October 12, 2024, at approximately 7:15 PM, the Upper Allen Police responded to a report of a reckless driver at the intersection of Geneva Drive and Paris Drive. Witnesses observed a black sedan speeding, losing control, and crashing into a sign before fleeing the scene. A thorough investigation, which included the recovery of car parts from the crash site, led to the identification of the vehicle as being owned by Ashur Carman. Further investigation provided evidence that Carman was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash. It was also determined that he had a passenger in the car during the incident. Charges were subsequently filed, and a preliminary hearing took place on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at which Carman waived his right to the hearing.

The investigation identified Ann Marie Castiglia as the suspect and revealed that she had stolen multiple items from residences throughout a local neighborhood. On Thursday, December 5, 2024, Castiglia waived her right to a preliminary hearing and the charges were bound over to the Court of Common Pleas.

The investigation identified Abdullahi Akinwande as the suspect and he was subsequently charged with retail theft. On Thursday, December 5, 2024, Akinwande waived his right to a preliminary hearing and the charges were bound over to the Court of Common Pleas.

On Saturday, December 7, 2024, Upper Allen Police were called to the report of a two vehicle crash on US Route 15 North in the area of the Turnpike. The investigation determined that the operator of a gray Toyota Prius was merging onto US Route 15 North from E Winding Hill Road when a collision occurred between the gray Prius and a blue Chevrolet Sonic. The operator of the Prius was transported to the hospital by Lower Allen EMS. Upper Allen Police were assisted on scene by Upper Allen Fire Department and Lower Allen EMS.
